Student developer, Oppia Foundation
Oppia builds a free, online learning platform to make quality education accessible for all. I worked with its Automated QA and Learner and Creator Experience teams.
- Built lesson checkpointing, so learners keep their progress through an exploration. Course completion and engagement rose 20%.
- Wrote an SVG sanitiser that defends against malicious SVG uploads.
- Raised frontend and backend test coverage to 95%+ per file, with a guard so it stays there.

Oracle internship
Software developer intern, Tenant Automation System (TAS)
- Engineered Tastool, a command-line tool that swiftly retrieves a user's order and subscription data by CSI (Customer Support Identifier).
- Exposed the same functionality as a REST API, and improved the DevOps portal to show the data.
Happy with the work, the team made me a full-time offer (PPO). I accepted.

Mathesar is a web application that gives databases an intuitive user experience.
- Extended data import beyond CSV and TSV to JSON and Excel, so structured and semi-structured data comes in as tables.
- Made onboarding easier; adoption rose 15%.
- Took the work from requirements through design, development, testing, and production, in the open.

- Received the Prof. B. B. Bansal Memorial Gold Medal, for co-curricular work, social service, and the highest CPI among such students.

- Led its authentication redesign from tokens to OAuth2, and provisioned the authorization infrastructure with Terraform across OCI realms.
- Built distributed pipelines that collect, validate, and monitor SLA metrics, for faster incident response.
- Shipped a Kubernetes Helm CI/CD pipeline on OCI DevOps, with automated multi-region production deploys.
OCI Console
- Enhanced and maintained the distributed microservices that power the Oracle Cloud Console, for performance, reliability, and new features.
- On-call and incident response: diagnosed live issues, rolled out safely, and restored service.
Side quest: OCI Security Assistant won the OCI Platform Org Hackathon 2025.
